County Durham Wedding DJ was back at Durham Castle in the centre of Durham City in the North East of England.  We were booked by Bex & Phil (pictured right) for their wedding entertainment needs.  We were all set up and ready for the couple to arrive in the room and the newlyweds selected Otis Redding with (Sittin On) The Dock of The Bay as the piece of music that they would like to enter the room to.

The couple had a late reception and their first dance started a little later than normal as they cut the cake at 8pm, entertained the speeches and then their wedding breakfast was served.

Durham Castle is a magnificent venue to host a wedding reception and County Durham Wedding DJ was back in the centre of Durham to provide the evening entertainment for Bethany & Rogan’s (pictured right) party.  It’s always a pleasure working at fantastic venues throughout the North East and the staff at Durham Castle are always a pleasure to see and help make the wedding day one to remember.

The newlyweds selected ‘Eric Clapton – Wonderful Tonight’ as their first dance (video below) and that set a great mood for the rest of the night because as soon as that traditional aspect was completed, the guests hit the dance floor and never stopped partying.  The guests were full of energy and we tried our best to wear them down with some great music selections and requests, but they beat us hands down.
