The County Durham Wedding DJ team have made numerous visits to The Morritt Country House Hotel to provide our Mobile Wedding Disco services to couples who have selected that fine venue at Greta Bridge, near Barnard Castle in County Durham.
On this occasion, we had the pleasure of being selected to provide our Professional Wedding DJ service at the reception of Amy & Gareth. As well as providing some of the entertainment on their big day, they also booked the additional service of our Giant Illuminated LOVE Letters. The couple, along with some of their wedding party, loved the letters so much that they had their pictures taken in front of them (pictured below).

THE MORRITT ARMS HOTEL AT GRETA BRIDGE IN BARNARD CASTLE – WEDDING RECEPTION DISCO FOR CRAIG & NICOLA PROVIDED BY COUNTY DURHAM WEDDING DJ
County Durham Wedding DJ was as the Morritt Arms Hotel at Greta Bridge near Barnard Castle for the wedding of Nicola & Craig Hopson. The couple chose us to provide their wedding disco at the luxury north east hotel that sits in the North Pennine Hills in County Durham.
The happy couple selected Rod Stewart’s ‘Crazy Love’ as their First Dance as husband and wife. As you will see from the video (below), they decided to treasure that moment together. They followed it with a big group photograph where all of the attendees were asked to gather on the dance floor.

The Morritt Hotel at Greta Bridge was the chosen venue for the wedding of Vicky & Adam (pictured right). The couple also selected County Durham Wedding DJ to provide the entertainment on their special day. We worked closely with the couple and they provided a great list of songs that they wanted playing at their wedding reception.
The most important song being their first dance and as you’ll see from the video below, they selected the acoustic version of the Foo Fighters with Everlong.
The happy couple played a big part in the music selections and they had a little bit of something for everyone. Kelly And Adam’s Wedding
My customers got married at Barnard Castle School that’s next to Bowes Musem in Barnard Castle. My clients booked the Chocolate Fountain from the Wedding Essentials section. This add-on service was highly popular with the guests – especially the kids.
Kelly and Adam gave me a big playlist of their favourite songs, to which I added music in from the 60s to the present day. The dance floor was full from the start to the finish.
There was a wide range of age groups present, so I mixed it up with old and new including 60s, 70s 80s and motown. The bridal party were pleased with the selection of music played and I received a big round of applause at the end of the night.

Charlotte And Chris Got Married at Headlam Hall followed by reception at Barnard Castle. The couple hired a huge marquee with a chequered dancefloor. They had Moodlighting (LED Uplighting), Chocolate Fountain and Wedding Balloons that are available to hire from us (see: Wedding Extras section).
Their happy couple selected Rod Stewart and his version of ‘Have I Told You Lately’ as their First Dance. The newlyweds were joined by the wedding guests mid way through their special song.
My customers sent in a small playlist of their favourite songs, these included a selection of tunes for the children who also danced to a special song for the bride and groom. The rest of the event was left in my capable hands and I made sure that a wide selection of songs were played to cater for the wide range of guests.
