Many couples take up the easy option of hiring the Resident DJ, but Doreen and Ken decided that they wanted to select their own DJ who can provide more than just the music on the night. The couple also wanted Mood Lighting in pink to go with their other decorations and they used us for the chair covers - opting for a white cover with a silver sash.
The couple took a break from tradition by not selecting a First Dance and that's not unusual. The event was for close friends and family, with the Wedding Breakfast taking place in the on-site restaurant. The evening celebrations then took place in the Brafferton B function suite. It was a good party with lots of dancing and a real pleasure for us to provide the entertainment, Mood Lighting and chair covers.
The remit from the clients was to play a good selection of music for all ages and we certainly achieved that. We hope to be back at the Hall Garth Hotel near Darlington in the near future.
